I have some very exciting news to share with all of you!
1. I participated in NaNoWriMo this year. I have completed a manuscript of over 47 thousand words. This story is called Cursed. To me, this story is like magical realism due to some supernatural stuff occurring in it. I will be posting more about Cursed later though!
2. I have just published a new eBook! Yes, that’s right. Today my novella, Revenge, was given the okay to be published it is currently available at: http://www.autharium.com/Ebook/Rita/revenge-1. You can also wait a few weeks and it will become available on other sites such as Amazon! For the promotional period, this novella is free.
3. If you have a blogger you can follow me at: http://ritathepoet.blogspot.com . I haven’t done a ton of blogging on blogger but I am starting to really use it a lot more.
4. I have joined BookDaily.com. I have no idea what I’m doing though so any assistance about how to use it efficiently would be most appreciated!

Words are so tiresome,
they say many things.
they never get a break or rest,
they put your know how to the test.
Words can be strong or week,
it just depends on what you seek.
Words can be placed together in so many ways,
rearrange the words to change what you say.
Words have it hard.
They are used over and over.
They are used improperly or shortened.
Words often get abused.
I commend words for taking on such a task.
If I was a word,
I don’t think that I would last.

I yearn for a twist in fate. Sure yeah, a happy ending sounds out of date. We all know that happy endings are so old school but I’ve made up my mind. It’s too late. Just because it’s not easy, doesn’t mean that its fake. You have to work hard to get what you want. I’m willing to work hard if you’ll make a start. Please try it now before it all goes tart. I have my hopes and dreams and I include you there. Sometimes life is not fair. But don’t you think I’m the one who would dare. I want a happy ending, there.

when one may lay themselves to rest
after they have endured todays test.
Cheers to nighttime,
allowing nature to get it’s beauty sleep
Everything and everyone including little peeps.
Cheers to nighttime,
oh how the sun grew wary,
and the stress that everyone carries
Cheers to nighttime,
placing a magically mist upon the land,
the nightly performance of the cricket band.
Cheers to nighttime,
for always being there,
even when the sunshine forgot it’s share.
